Brony Quest: The Search for 'My Little Pony' Fans at Comic-Con 2015
San Diego Comic-Con whizzes past at a hundred miles per hour. There’s so much to do in this jam-packed weekend of fun, fantasy, and movie and TV promos, you literally can’t come close to seeing everything. This year, we were beyond thrilled to attend Shout! Factory’s My Little Pony Costume Contest, but alas, when we arrived at the booth, the competition had come and gone! Undeterred, Yahoo’s intrepid host, Khail Anonymous, soldiered on to track down some mythical Bronies, no matter the cost!
On our adventure to find grown men, who are passionate about the children’s series, My Little Pony, we found that most comic fans just don’t want to discuss tiny cartoon horses openly in public. At least that was the case, until we found Ian, a twentysomething completely unafraid to confess his love and devotion to Pinky Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, and the whole gang. Ian even joined Khail in reenacting a favorite scene from the show. Watch and enjoy the above video!
