Brie Larson’s Embarrassing Moment With Super Bowl Champ
On Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, Brie Larson admitted not knowing anything about football. Jimmy asked her if she knew who won the Super Bowl, and she guessed “the Cougars? I know that it was an animal, right? Was it a mammal?” She continued to guess until Jimmy said, “You’ll figure it out when the guy from the team comes out here.” That guy was DeMarcus Ware, outside linebacker for the Super Bowl-winning Denver Broncos. She joked that anyone who played football wouldn’t know about her film Room. Then all 260 pounds of DeMarcus came out as the next guest, not the type of guy one should anger. Jimmy congratulated him on the huge win. He was thankful and then complimented Brie on her nomination for her film. She awkwardly smiled, knowing that she was wrong. Let’s hope the next room Brie Larson is trapped in has TV so she can learn a few things about football.
