This week, "The X Factor" top 13 contestants (the top 12, plus one wild card who sadly was not James Kenney) had to perform twice. On Wednesday, they sang the songs of Motown, as planned. Then the public's votes got scrapped due to a technical glitch, so the contestants all had to sing their "Save Me" songs on Thursday.
This seemed like yet another massive "X Factor" fail, but maybe it was a blessing in disguise for viewers, because Thursday's episode was infinitely better than Wednesday's. Was it blessing for the contestants? For some of them, yes...but definitely not for all.
Today, my "The Day After" co-host Matt Whitfield and I discuss the performances from both nights, in perhaps the most information-crammed "The Day After" ever. Watch us do double-duty, and be sure to share your thoughts on the message board below!
