Why the ‘X Factor U.K.’ Finale is Better Than the ‘X Factor USA’ Finale

The finales for both the British and American versions of "The X Factor" take place this week. "The X Factor U.K." crowned 36-year-old former prison officer Sam Bailey its Season 10 winner on Sunday, and this coming Thursday, "The X Factor USA" will anoint either Alex & Sierra, Jeff Gutt, or Carlito Olivero.

"The X Factor USA" finale is sure to be entertaining, with performances by Lea Michele, Mary J. Blige, Leona Lewis, and of course One Direction. But it won't hold a candle to the U.K.'s finale, because on "The X Factor U.K.," this happened:

To celebrate "The X Factor U.K.'s" 10th season, the series trotted some old fan favorites (or not-so-favorites), including Brazilian blowhard Wagner and "Celebrity Big Brother" winner Rylan Clark. But the real magic happened about 55 seconds into this epic contestant mashup, when Season 6 contestants Jedward, aka the Double Divas of Dublin, descended from the ceiling and proceeded to rub their success (and their gyrating hips) in the judges' faces.

Can "The X Factor USA" do this on Thursday's show? I nominate Wild Thingz, Second Hand High, Denny "Santa Claus" Smith, CeCe Frey, Lyric 145, Jason Brock, Astro, Simone Battle, and Dexter Haygood for the American medley. Whaddya think?
