Can the "Sharknado" sequel really go on without Tara Reid?!
While Ian Ziering has reportedly been asked back, there has been talk that Tara has not.
Despite the constant rumors that the actress will not reprise her role as April Wexler (the horror!), the 37-year-old actress insists that reports she wasn't asked back for "Sharknado 2" are not true.
"TMZ made that up... then, of course, anything with me goes viral in two seconds, which really sucks sometimes, so everyone else picked it up," she explained to Yahoo! TV. "But it's not true. It was really annoying."
Oh, but wait! Tara also told she might very well choose to opt out of Syfy's TV movie.
"Honestly, it all depends on the script, you know? There is no script, no location, we don't know anything yet," she said. "There are a lot of rumors and talk about it, but we don't know anything."
Well … there is a location, actually: New York City.
"I don't know how New York would happen," continued Reid. "Last year, remember all the floods? I think there has to be a flood in there somehow, then. I think probably a 'Shurricane.' A shark hurricane. I think that's the only thing that makes sense."
"The whole movie is ridiculous," she laughed. "It's supposed to be absurd and just insane, which I'm glad people got."
