Due to the confusing and tangled complications of TV programming, there are going to be fewer episodes of CBS's "Rules of Engagement" than originally planned, even though, and perhaps because, the show is such a hit. I think of "ROE" as one of those shows that only enters my consciousness in order to surprise me that it's still on, but don't worry, they'll, uh, get engaged, or married, or find out who the mother is, or whatever, still with 15 episodes instead of 20. Probably? If you can decode this Deadline post, you should get an honorary TV programming degree. (Apparently it has something to do with Rob Schneider. Go!)
David Spade, victim of his own success.
