The O.C.," when troubled teen Marissa Cooper (Mischa Barton) and bisexual bad girl Alex Kelly (Olivia Wilde) shared several romantic lip locks. Now, a decade since the show's premiere, Barton opened up about her onscreen relationship with Wilde to "Yo Show" host Kristen Aldridge. "It was funny. We did a lot of joking about it. I really like Olivia," Barton said of the experience, adding that Wilde is a friend, a nice girl, and very down to earth. (Interesting fact: Wilde also played a bisexual woman on Fox's medical drama "House.")Same-sex kisses are no biggie on TV these days, but in 2006, these things made major waves — especially on the Fox teen drama "
So did the stunning twosome rehearse the sexy scenes? "No," Barton said, laughing. "I think Olivia and I are both the kind of girl that we were just like, 'Let's just do it on the day.' There was no practicing. Sorry, guys."

Smooches aside, can you believe it's been 10 years since the show's premiere? Barton agreed with Aldridge that it's crazy that it's been that long, saying, "Time flies. I mean, I was 17 when I started it, though. [I] was so young."
Now, Barton (who's faced many challenges since "The O.C.," including a 2009 stint in the psychiatric ward at L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center) has many projects in the works, including the supernatural indie film "I Will Follow You Into the Dark," co-starring Ryan Eggold ("90210") and Leah Pipes ("The Originals"). "It's a really nice little feature film about love, and life after death, and where do we go after we die, and all of these big questions," Barton dished about the movie, adding that it is a heavy, creative piece, but it was a lot of fun to film.
"I Will Follow You Into the Dark" will be released theatrically on Oct. 11.
