Deciphering the New 'Orphan Black' Season 2 Character Posters
There's so much buzz building up to "Orphan Black" Season 2 (premieres Saturday, April 19 at 9 p.m. on BBC America), and these new character posters are only going to make it louder. Let's analyze them.
Can you decipher the looks between Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) and Cal (new addition Michiel Huisman)? If we're reading their body language literally, she's certainly watching her back around him... but they do make a beautiful couple.
Are Cosima (Maslany) and Delphine (Evelyne Brochu) still a united front, or is their work at the DYAD Institute — investigating the cloning experiment and trying to figure out Cosima's illness — causing them to drift apart?
And what is Felix (Jordan Gavaris) doing all dolled up with Alison (Maslany again), looking super Audrey Hepburn (please note dearly departed Aynsley's scarf on the floor under Alison's heels), and her schlubby husband Donnie (Kristian Bruun)? Better question: Can they please give Donnie some fashion tips beyond track suits?
Last but not least, we have the enemies: Pro clone Rachel (Maslany, if you're not getting the theme here) flanked by Paul (Dylan Bruce) and Dr. Leekie (Matt Frewer). Dr. Leekie just looks like his creepy self, but what's up with Paul's hand in a fist and Rachel looking a bit fearful of something and protective of him?
