SPOILER ALERT: This recap reveals the elimination results of Week 7 of "Dancing With the Stars."
On Monday night's "Dancing With the Stars," the spray-tanned celebs did double dancing duty for a Halloween-week show that was full of tricks, treats, and this season's first team dance round.
But first, after a week of speculation over whether there would be a double elimination this week following a technical snafu that resulted in no elimination last Monday, the "DWTS" powers that be released a promo that promised there would be a "big announcement" at the start of the show.

Ousted contestant Christina Milian appeared on "Good Morning America" to dish that two couples could be going home this week, while host Tom Bergeron even tweeted a speculation article about the surprise announcement and teased that there could be a double elimination, a new judge, or even the return of the results show. So, what was the big announcement? Bergeron revealed that Cher would be a guest judge next week. The Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, and Golden Globe winner will fill in for Len Goodman. (And no nepotism here — her son Chaz competed on the show four seasons ago.)
Cher's coming next week:
Of course, even Cher couldn't save this week's doomed couple. (And yes, there was only one.) Following this week's solo dance and team dance number, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and her pro partner Sasha Farber became the 5th couple eliminated from the TV dancing competition.

The shocking news came after Snooki's high scoring samba and a spot-on team dance, which each earned her 27 points. The emotional "Jersey Shore" star could barely speak after her elimination was announced: "I can't even talk right now," she told Brooke Burke-Charvet. "I love everybody here, so it sucks. ... I don't want to go."
This week's solo dances featured an alien inspired quickstep for Elizabeth Berkley and Val Chmerkovskiy (Len Goodman dubbed it a UFO: Utterly Full On) and a Chihuahua-style samba from Snooki. But a highlight was the surprising first-ever "10" for Jack Osbourne, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis last year. The reality star revealed that he had the case of the midseason blues as the competition began to take its toll on his body, and after his country-tinged jive with partner Cheryl Burke, an emotional Sharon Osbourne told Burke-Charvet that she'd advised her son to "throw in the towel," but added, "He's in for the long haul."
Derek Hough's back problems almost had him sitting out for this week's paso doble with Amber Riley (who's been sporting her own knee brace), but his doc cleared him in time for the show. The injured duo tied with Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff for the high score of the night with 29 points.
On the other end of the leaderboard was Bill Engvall and Emma Slater. The couple's "Viva Las Vegas" quickstep earned 23 points, although Goodman said he wished he could judge with his heart instead of his brain. (Backhanded compliment, anyone?)
For this week's team round, the awesomely named Team Foxing Awesome and Team Spooky Bom Bom went head to head for extra points.
Team Foxing Awesome, which included Riley and Hough, Bleu and Smirnoff, Brant Daugherty and Peta Murgatroyd, and Osbourne and Burke, danced to the viral YouTube hit "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)" by Ylvis. The team's animalistic moves gave Bruno Tonioli goosebumps, while Carrie Ann Inaba told the group of sly little foxes: "I feel like I was just on an acid trip." The dance scored a perfect 30 points.

For Team Bom Bom, Berkley and Chmerkovskiy, Engvall and Slater, Polizzi and Farber, and Leah Remini and Tony Dovolani teamed up to dance to "Bom Bom" by Sam and the Womp. The Ghoulish extravaganza earned all four couples an extra 27 points each, with Inaba declaring that Engvall was "the glue that held the dance together."
