Comic-Con Exclusive: 'Psych-Outs' Gag Reel Reveals the Even Funnier Side of 'Psych' [Video]
We're not trying to mess with your head, but we do have the exclusive Comic-Con "psych-outs" gag reel from the popular USA series "Psych." It's a stitch seeing lead actors James Roday and Dulé Hill break character, fumble lines, and take yet another spin in the Blueberry.
The long-running dramedy focuses on Shawn (Roday), the son of a police officer and a young man with exceptional powers of observation. To save his skin, he claims to be a psychic and, with the help of best bud Gus (Hill), keeps up the charade. You don't have to be a psychic investigator — or play one on TV — to enjoy this exclusive bloopers reel from San Diego Comic-Con 2013, though.

Roday and Hill are still at their best stumbling over words and forgetting their lines. The actors have obvious affection for each other, which translates quite clearly to their onscreen bromance. In fact, the easy-going nature of the cast comes through loud and clear, especially at their silliest.
In one segment, Gus rocks an accurate Hogwarts uniform in outtakes from the upcoming Season 8 homage to Harry Potter. (Does that mean Shawn will be Gus's Ron Weasley?) Wearing a robe and sweater set, Hill makes Roday crack up each time he says "spotted dick," a reference to a popular dessert enjoyed by Potter and his friends.
Recurring guest stars get psyched-out, as well. Look for Cybill Shepherd as Shawn's mom holding something that looks unsuitable for broadcast TV. Speaking of inappropriate, Detective Carlton "Lassie" Lassiter steps out of the tub with carefully sculpted soap bubbles semi-hiding an interesting place.
Roday and Hill show off some serious pipes, breaking into song when they get stuck or flub a line. Hill even slips on a police officer's cap for an impromptu homage to the Village People. Maybe they were just warming up for "Psych: The Musical."
The two-part "Psych: The Musical" special premieres in December 2013 on USA.
