His parents may be taking a break, but "Little People, Big World" star Jeremy Roloff is taking the plunge.

The 23-year-old son of Matt and Amy Roloff announced his engagement to Audrey Mirabella Botti on Instagram alongside a gorgeous shot of the couple kissing on railroad tracks.

"January 16th, 2010 I met Audrey. January 17th, 2010, I was in love. August 15th, 2011 asked her out. March 15th, 2014 I asked this beautiful girl to be mine, and she said yes. Drowning in grace," the TLC reality star gushed.

But he wasn't done shouting from the rooftops just yet. Jeremy took to Facebook to wax poetic about this milestone (and credit his photographer, "best bud" Tye French).

"Hey everyone! Yes, it is true! This weekend I flew home to Oregon, and I had beautiful intentions. I asked Audrey to marry me!!" he declared. "We have been SO overwhelmed by the response and are sincerely grateful and thankful for all your support and encouragement. The full story coming soon!"

And he wasn’t the only one to commemorate this special moment. Audrey posted her own picture on Instagram as well, which featured her elegant sparkler and beaming smile.

"The question: Audrey Mirabella Botti, will you marry me? The answer: YES!!!!!!!!!!!!" she exclaimed. "You're the one I want to team up with for life. Jeremy James Roloff, to say I'm I love you is an understatement. I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!"

This happy time comes in the wake of less joyful news. Less than one week ago, Jeremy's parents announced they were separating after a whopping 26 years together. The shocking reveal came with promos for a new special that will air on March 25, which showed that Matt had been living in the guesthouse, apart from Amy.

"I think what Matt and I failed to do over many, many years together was learn to live together," Amy lamented. "I'm saddened by it."

Hopefully this joyful news will lift her spirits. Matt, it seems, has already started cheering up. The future father-in-law posted a photo alongside the happy couple on his Facebook fan page.

He also noted, "Amy was traveling so she missed all the excitement ... Can't wait for her to get back late tonight to share in the after glow." (In other words, it sounds like he's ready to put their differences aside so they can enjoy this milestone for their second-eldest son-- which sounds like an excellent idea to us.) "Having fun can be tiring.. Congrats Jer and Audry..love and proud of you both. Soon as Amy's back... Let the planning begin!!"
