Boston Marathon Bombing: News Networks Say Suspect Identified

News networks, citing sources, are reporting a potential suspect in Monday's Boston Marathon bombings may have been identified.

CNN's sources say that a suspect has been identified -- and that came thanks to analysis of department store footage from across the street from the explosions identified a suspect, investigators told anchor John King.

But NBC News, citing its own sources, say only that investigators are "zeroing in on some people." But the network's Pete Williams cast doubt on the claim that a suspect has been identified, saying that reports are "simply not correct."

Meanwhile, a breaking news alert from ABC affiliate WCVB-TV Boston claims that "an arrest in #BostonMarathon bombing is imminent or has already taken place."

The Boston Globe and Reuters have also reported that investigators have a suspect.

More to come.
