Blake Lively's kids are her number one priority.
The 29-year-old actress stunned in a green Brandon Maxwell jumpsuit as she was honored for her work combating child pornography at Variety's Power of Women event in New York City on Friday, where she opened up about her young daughters.
"My family is my priority, and my work fits in and around that," Lively told The Insider on the red carpet. "I've [been] fortunate to have a job I can take my family with me and I can tailor to that, but I hope that my girls always feel what a priority they are, and see that they can be professional, strong, powerful women and they can also be mothers, wives and daughters."
"You don't have to compromise one for the other," she added.
Lively, who shares 2-year-old James and 6-month-old Ines with husband Ryan Reynolds, brought Reynolds' mother, Tammy, along with her to the event.
"These days, my daughters [are the most powerful female influence in my life], but also my mom and my sisters. But really, my mom is the powerful influence in my life, and I've got a great mother-in-law too right there, beautiful Tammy," she said. "It's so great [to have her here today]."
"I have family members, I have some of my closest friends, I have Carly Asher Yoost, who is the Co-CEO and Founder of the Child Rescue Coalition, who I'm honoring today, and I'm really grateful to be standing for the people who don't have this opportunity to speak up for themselves."
Inside, Lively -- introduced by her Savages co-star, Salma Hayek -- gave a passionate speech in support of the Child Rescue Coalition, which works to end child pornography.
"The kids are getting younger and the content is getting more devastating," Lively said. "When a law enforcement officer told me this, I asked, 'How young are the victims?' And he told me infants -- and I have a 6-month-old daughter."
