‘Black-ish’ Co-stars Go Head to Head on ‘Lip Sync Battle’

Actor Anthony Anderson and his Black-ish co-star and onscreen spouse, Tracee Ellis Ross, stopped by Thursday night’s Lip Sync Battle to determine, once and for all, who the superior fake singer is. Anderson channeled his inner CeeLo, but disappointingly, Ross did not sing something by her mother, famed diva Diana Ross, opting instead for a little Nicki Minaj. The first round saw Anderson facing off against Ross by pretending to belt out Bell Biv Devoe’s classic “Do Me.” Ross countered with Minaj’s “Superbass.” During the second round, Anderson donned his best oversize suit and blinged-out sunglasses while performing in front of a diner setting for CeeLo’s kiss-off anthem “Forget You,” and Ross got her dance on with Pat Benatar’s “Love Is a Battlefield.”

Lip Sync Battle airs Thursdays at 10 pm on Spike.
