‘Billy on the Street’ Preview: Jacob Tremblay Reminds Strangers Why He’s Famous

By Rachel Desantis

Jacob Tremblay may only be 10 years old, but with a Critics’ Choice Award under his belt, the pint-sized actor is probably already more successful than you — and Billy Eichner doesn’t want you to forget it.

In the latest episode of Eichner’s hilariously frenzied street game show Billy on the Street, he and Tremblay play a Lightning Round to remind the people of New York that Tremblay is more successful than they are, and he’s blowing up in Hollywood.

For some, the reaction is less than enthusiastic (“Why are you yelling at me?” asks one man who has clearly never seen this show before), but many take the chance to tell the actor, best known for his role in Room, how much they loved him in the movie.

Tremblay’s responses are adorably mature for his age, and he even insists that just because the other children they pass don’t have a Critics’ Choice Award, doesn’t mean they’re not as cool as him.

Watch the clip above, and try not to cringe comparing your own accomplishments as a 10-year-old to Tremblay’s.

Billy on the Street airs Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. ET on truTV.
