Do we sense some bad blood lingering at Fox News?

With Donald Trump headed to the White House, you’d figure the conservative cable news network would be celebrating this week. But the release of anchor Megyn Kelly‘s new memoir Settle for More, with accusations of sexual harassment against former network chairman Roger Ailes, has pitted some Fox News loyalists against her. And Bill O’Reilly is clear which side he’s on.

In an interview with CBS This Morning on Tuesday, O’Reilly was asked about Kelly’s new book, and said he hasn’t read it yet: “I’m trying to stay out of any of that kind of stuff.” He wished Kelly well, and called her “a very smart woman.” But when pressed on the issue, he said, “I want to be very candid here: I’m not that interested in this… I’m not interested in making my network look bad. At all. That doesn’t interest me one bit.” (It’s worth noting that he does seem to realize that Kelly’s book makes his network look bad.)

O’Reilly insisted that he doesn’t have time for things like that: “I’ve got a country that’s in a political transition. I’ve got a kids’ book that I want millions of kids to look at. That’s what I’m interested in. Not making my network look bad.”

This tiff comes as Kelly is negotiating a possible contract extension with Fox News. (Her contract expires next July.) Her show The Kelly File and O’Reilly’s show The O’Reilly Factor currently air back-to-back in Fox News’ primetime lineup.

Whose side are you on: Bill O’Reilly’s, or Megyn Kelly’s? Hit the comments and explain your reasoning. (Keeping it as civil as possible, of course.)
