'Big Brother' contestant receives life-changing news and completely melts

On Big Brother, things got emotional when former “Head of Household” Jason Dent finally got to enjoy one of the perks of winning HOH — receiving a letter from his family.

The 38-year-old rodeo clown from Humeston, Iowa, was brought to tears as soon as he started reading the letter out loud to his fellow houseguests. However, it was when he read that his son wants him to win Big Brother because he is going to be a big brother, that Dent completely lost it … in a good way. In fact, the whole house was brought to tears as they all celebrated the news of his wife’s pregnancy.

Dent was also still serving out his punishment of wearing the “extreme-atard” 24/7, so watching him scream at the top of his lungs and collapse to the floor crying tears of joy was even more fun.

In the diary room, Dent shared, “I love my family so much more right now than I ever have, and I didn’t even think that was possible. I wish I could see them. But it doesn’t get any better. It’s such a driving factor to make big moves and make sure I make it to the end more than ever now.”

While Jason is still gunning for the $500,000 BB19 prize, at least he knows that at home he’s already winning.

Big Brother airs Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m., and live evictions air Thursdays at 9 p.m. on CBS.
