Joel McHale brought the entertainment community together as he hosted the People's Choice Awards Wednesday night. As is tradition with awards show hosts, Joel said some pretty controversial political jokes, like, "2016 was a very interesting year. We all watched as a longtime government insider squared off against an egotistical billionaire. I'm speaking, of course, about Captain America: Civil War." Joel got the night off to a funny start, and the laughs continued when Kevin Hart won Favorite Comedic Movie Actor. During his acceptance speech, Kevin said, "This one goes to all of the co-stars that I've had, except The Rock, because he hasn't helped me. He hasn't helped me at all. You've actually lessened my talent."
