BBC America's 'Orphan Black' To Get 'Talking Dead'-Like Aftershow

Following in the footsteps of The Walking Dead, BBC America’s clone chiller Orphan Black will get a weekly aftershow this season. After the Black debuts Thursday April 14 at 11 PM ET immediately following the Orphan Black Season 4 premiere.
BBC America is clearly hoping to tap into the audience appetite for post-show debates, a genre pioneered in the U.S. by AMC with its Talking programs Talking Bad (post-Breaking Bad), Talking Dead (post-The Walking Dead) and Talking Saul (post-Better Call Saul), all hosted by Chris Hardwick.
The 30-minute After the Black will be moderated by Ajay Fry, Morgan Hoffman and Teddy Wilson, hosts of the InnerSpace series (and related podcasts) on Canada’s Space channel. InnerSpace is a daily sci-fi-oriented news program that has devoted episodes to discussing fan favorites like Battlestar Galactica, Dr. Who and Being Human.
After the Black will feature discussions with Orphan Black cast, crew and special guests, with topics ranging from plot hints, twists and theories. Special segments will include behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive first looks at the following week’s Orphan Black episode.
The inaugural episode will welcome Orphan Black stars Tatiana Maslany and Kevin Hanchard to discuss the Season 4 premiere. Created by Graeme Manson and John Fawcett, the sci-fi Orphan Black follows a woman (Maslany) who poses as her own (murdered) clone. The series debuted on BBC America and Canada’s Space channel in 2013.
