'The Bachelorette' Preview: Kaitlyn Drops the Nick Bomb
All season we’ve known it was coming, rose lovers: The return of Nick Viall, the smarmy, mumble-mouthed whiner from Andi’s season. Somehow, God help her, Kaitlyn “connected” with Nick after she was booted from The Bachelor… and on Monday’s episode of The Bachelorette, he shows up and wants to join the rest of the guys on the hunt for Kaitlyn’s heart. The Bachelorette likes this idea… but as you’ll see from the clip above, the other suitors do not. At all. I think the look on Shawn B.’s face says it all:
Tanner reminds the guys of Nick’s douchetastic behavior on After the Final Rose, when he shamed Andi on live TV for sleeping with him in the Fantasy Suite right before dumping him for Josh. “A guy like that will just be annoying to deal with,” gripes Tanner. (Oh pal, you don’t know the half of it.) Despite fears that she’s going to make the other guys “feel disrespected,” Kaitlyn persists with her terrible, terrible plan. and heads outside to welcome Nick to the fold. And he LOVES it.
ARRRRGH. Now that I’ve gotten my feelings out of the way, rose lovers, I want to hear your thoughts. Does Nick make your flesh crawl, or is it just me? What does Kaitlyn see in him?
