Top 'Bachelor' Moments: A 'Bromance' For the Ages
We interrupt this countdown of the 20 best Bachelor moments — in honor of The Bachelor’s 20th season — to acknowledge a producer-created sideshow known as JJ and Clint’s bromance. During season 11 of The Bachelorette, architectural engineer Clint and “former investment banker” JJ struck up a friendship and ended up spending hours in Casa Bachelor’s hot tub together — which led to some quizzical, vaguely homophobic observations from the other contestants, and a full-on “bromance” “storyline” from the producers. (The result of all of this silliness comes in at No. 7 in ABC’s top 20 Bachelor moments countdown.) As JJ and Clint explained at the Men Tell All, they really were just friends,” even though — as JJ put it — their relationship “had a lot of meat” to it.
