UPDATED, Friday 3:37 p.m.: Trump has denied Summer Zervos’ accusations, writing on Facebook, “To be clear, I never met her at a hotel or greeted her inappropriately a decade ago. That is not who I am as a person, and it is not how I’ve conducted my life.” (See full Facebook post below.)
Another woman came forward to accuse Donald Trump of sexual misconduct on Friday, with former “Apprentice” contestant Summer Zervos claiming that current GOP presidential nominee Trump kissed her against her will and came on to her.
During a press conference with attorney Gloria Allred, Zervos recounted an alleged encounter with Trump at the Beverly Hills Hotel, during which she said Trump kissed her “very aggressively,” placed his hand on her breast and thrust his genitals.
According to Zervos, she first met Trump while a candidate on Season 5 of “The Apprentice,” and contacted his office in 2007 to inquire about having lunch with him. Trump instead offered to meet her at his office.
“When I arrived he kissed me on the lips. I was surprised but felt that perhaps that was just his form of greeting,” Zervos said at a press conference Friday.
Zervos went on to say that Trump told her he would “love to have me work for him,” promising to get in touch when he visited Los Angeles in the near future.
When Trump arrived in Los Angeles, Zervos said, he invited her to dinner, asking her to meet him at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
After arriving at the hotel, Zervos said, she was escorted to a bungalow and sat down in the living room.
“I waited for about 15 minutes until Mr. Trump emerged. He had his suit on. I stood up and he came to me and started kissing me open-mouthed as he was pulling me towards him,” Zervos recalled during Friday’s conference. “I walked away and I sat down on a chair. He was on a love seat across from me and I made an attempt at conversation. He then asked me to sit next to him. I complied.”
From there. Zervos said, the situation escalated.
“He then grabbed my shoulder and began kissing me again very aggressively and placed his hand on my breast,” Zervos said. “I pulled back and walked to another part of the room. He then walked up, he grabbed my hand and walked me into the bedroom. I walked out.”
Zervos claimed that Trump then asked her to “lay down and watch some telly telly.”
“He put me in an embrace and I tried to push him away. I pushed his chest to put space between us and I said come on man, ‘get real,'” Zervos continued. “He repeated my words back to me, ‘get real’ as he began thrusting his genitals. He tried to kiss me again and with my hand still on his chest.”
Eventually, Trump relented, according to Zervos, though he “acted like he was a bit angry.”
“I was very conflicted as to what occurred. I wondered if the sexual behavior was some kind of test and whether or not I had passed,” she said. “Obviously, he still wanted to talk to me about a job even though I had turned his sexual advances down.”
However, Zervos said, eventually she was offered a job at Trump’s golf course at half of her salary requirements. After getting the run-around from Trump, Zervos recalled, he ultimately told her that he was laying off “thousands of employees” and couldn’t afford to hire her.
Zervos is the latest in a string of women to accuse reality TV personality-turned-politician Trump of sexual misconduct. Also on Friday, a woman named Kristin Anderson told The Washington Post that she was sat on a couch with friends at a New York City nightclub in the early ’90s when Trump suddenly reached up her skirt and touched her through her underwear.
