‘Angel From Hell’ Pulled From CBS Schedule

CBS has pulled new episodes of “Angel From Hell” from its Thursday schedule, the network announced Monday.

“2 Broke Girls” will move back into the 9:30 p.m ET Thursday timeslot beginning Feb. 18. That series, starring Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, previously held that slot before being moved to Wednesdays.

A rerun of “The Big Bang Theory” will air this week instead of “Angel From Hell.” It is not known at this time if CBS has any plans to continue with “Angel From Hell” by finding it a new home in its primetime lineup.

The freshman series stars Maggie Lawson as a doctor who has a chance encounter with a woman (Jane Lynch) who claims to be her guardian angel.

The show premiered on Jan. 7 and has been a solid ratings performer. After airing its first five episodes, “Angel From Hell” is averaging 7 million viewers per episode and a 1.4 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic.

The show also stars Kyle Bornheimer and Kevin Pollak. Tad Quill writes and produces the series, in association with CBS Television Studios.
