These 'AFV' BBQ Fails May Cause You to Rethink Your Weekend Plans

It’s Friday, and you’re probably already thinking about the weekend. Perhaps you’re even planning to do a little outdoor grilling with your friends and family. But before you do, please heed these hilarious warnings from the helpful folks over at America’s Funniest Home Videos. Spreading their “safety-first” message through such educational films as “Man’s Groin Catches on Fire,” “Kid’s Pants Get Caught on the Barbecue,” and “Grandpa Dances and Trips Over BBQ Pit,” the team at AFV wants you to know that any time there’s an open flame and some form of video recording device around, it’s very likely something ridiculous will happen.

Of course, some of these BBQ-related “accidents” would more accurately be described as “pranks” — as for the dude who finds himself doused at the grill by a bucket-wielding friend on the roof, or the dad who can’t quite figure out what is tickling his neck (and yes, he regrets looking up to find out).

Grill safe, everybody!

AFV airs Sundays at 7 p.m. on ABC; the new season premieres Sunday, Oct. 11 on ABC.
