‘American Ninja Warrior’ Ratings Top Monday On Steady Night

There was a little bit of history made on last night’s American Ninja Warrior (1.9/7) as Jessie Graff became the first women to finish the show’s Las Vegas Stage 1 course. The stuntwomen’s feat also saw the NBC competition show finish even with last week’s fast-affiliate results among adults 18-49, which went up tenth in final results.

Nielsen’s numbers were delayed this morning but in many ways last night looks a lot like last Monday. Like on August 22, American Ninja Warrior has tied what was a season-best demo result, as did Bachelor In Paradise (1.6/6), which was even with last week. Unlike last week, the ABC romance reality series saw an uptick of 4% among viewers to hit a season high and match its second best results ever. Steady was also the word for So You Think You Can Dance (0.7/8) – the Fox series was even with its August 22 episode in the demo with a small dip from last week to 2.53 million viewers.

NBC took the night overall with Shaquille O’Neal on Running Wild With Bear Grylls (1.4/6) and the series up a tenth to match a season high and the show’s second-best demo rating ever. The Comcast-owned net had a 1.7/6 rating, like last week, and 6.00 million viewers, pretty much the same as last week.

At 10 PM, ABC’s Mistresses (0.6/2) was even with its airing on the first post-Olympics Monday. CBS and the CW were all encores.
