America Ferrera Talks Possible ‘Ugly Betty’ Return
It has been six years since Ugly Betty left the air, but after America Ferrera’s visit to Watch What Happens Live, it may not be long before it returns.
Ferrera gave fans a reason to be hopeful after a caller asked about the potential for Ugly Betty to join one of the streaming video providers, like Netflix or Hulu. Ferrara said, “We had an Ugly Betty reunion at a festival, and we started a hashtag for HuluBringBackUglyBetty.”
Ferrera went on to say that there is indeed a conversation going on between the talent agency CAA and some streaming sites. “We’re having conversations, so the more our fans want it and make noise about it, the more likely it is. So keep it up.”
