Amber Tamblyn Mocks Donald Trump in 'Lip Sync Battle'

The Hollywood Reporter

Amber Tamblyn has made it quite clear that she isn't a fan of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

On the upcoming episode of Lip Sync Battle, set to air Wednesday, Trump serves as the basis of Tamblyn's performance as she mocks the GOP candidate while reuniting with her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants castmate America Ferrera.

Clad in a blue suit and a Trump-like wig, Tamblyn performs Color Me Badd's '90s hit "I Wanna Sex You Up" - which hit No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 - in front of two signs that read "I (heart) Hispanics" and "Make (America) Great Again" with the Hispanic actress's picture replacing "America." Tamblyn seduces Ferrera throughout the performance, before a woman dressed in a white walks out, confusion apparent in her demeanor, a la Trump's wife Melania.

On the night of the second town-hall debate, Tamblyn penned a long post on Instagram where she shared her own traumatic experience about an ex-boyfriend of hers who "grabbed me under my skirt by my vagina - my pussy? - and lifted me up off the floor, literally, and carried me, like something he owned, like a piece of trash, out of the club." She later continued, saying, "That part of my body, which the current Presidential Nominee of the United States Donald Trump recently described as something he'd like to grab a woman by, was bruised from my ex-boyfriend's violence for at least the next week."

Trump's lewd remarks about inappropriately grabbing women have encouraged a slew of them, such as Tamblyn, to speak out on their own experiences. She ended, "I needed to tell a story. Enjoy the debates tonight."

Spike's Lip Sync Battle airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Watch the video below.
