Amanda Bynes has opened up about a personal struggle.
"I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin," the 27-year-old actress Tweeted on Thursday night.
According to Amanda, who has been a frequent tabloid target, she's taking legal action against those who are questioning her mental health.
"I'm suing certain blogs and magazines saying I have a mental illness! They take pictures anytime I've gained weight then write a fake story!" she continued.
The former Nickelodeon star then instructed the media on how to select photographs when writing about her.
"They write a news article about every tweet I write and I hate the pictures they choose. They repeat what I tweet then add a bad photo," she continued. "Only use photos from my twitter when writing an article about me."
Adding, "I don't read articles written about me unless I give an interview for a magazine. They're fake! Don't trust what u read on sites!"
Amanda's Twitter rants come on the heels of a series of headline-making incidents in recent weeks.
Also this week, she Tweeted, "When you're in love, only one person's opinion of you matters."
