Alicia Keys Steals ‘Voice’ Contestant Back From Miley Cyrus

Alicia Keys was the only coach who could still steal a contestant during the Knockout Rounds on The Voice Monday night, and she used it on a familiar voice. Team Miley contestants Aaron Gibson and Josh Halverson were the final battle of the night and made the decision difficult on their coach.

Aaron got up and sang “Die a Happy Man” by Thomas Rhett, and Josh went with Tim McGraw’s “Whiskey and You.” All of the judges had nothing but good things to say about both guys, which made it difficult for Miley to choose a winner. The “Wrecking Ball” singer ended up choosing Aaron, which meant Josh was, once again, available to be stolen.

Alicia was Josh’s original coach, then Miley stole him back in the Battle Rounds. After Miley let Josh go Monday night, the “Fallin’” singer picked Josh back up again, and all was right with the world.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m./7 p.m. CT on NBC.
