Alexa Chung has landed a new gig with Ugg.
The fashion favorite has been appointed art director for the brand known for sheepskin boots seen on stars like Sarah Jessica Parker, Blake Lively, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Chung is partnering with Ugg to celebrate the Classic boot and launch of the Classic II boot.

Chung went behind the lens for Ugg, overseeing an entire shoot, from the cast to the campaign concept.
Photographed by Ben Rayner, who's previously worked with Tommy Hilfiger and A$AP Rocky, the series of portraits taken in New York is meant to capture "a group of women within the creative industry who are celebrated for their individual style, have a strong sense of self and enjoy a close relationship with Alexa." One of the ladies featured is former law student-turned-model Coco Baudelle wearing a pink skirt suit with the shearling-lined boots.

"I've always appreciated classic items of clothing, and always been drawn to things that have a perennial appeal, and I would say the UGG Classic boot possesses that quality," Chung said in a statement.
However, as The Telegraph's retail correspondent Ashley Armstrong pointed out on Twitter, the original statement spelled "perennial" as "perineal," soliciting responses such as "maybe she gets paid per anum?" and "if Alexa has found a way of adorning her perineum with Ugg boots maybe she'll start a trend."
However, the best response of all came from Chung herself, who wrote, "I hope my perineum is perennially appealing." Chung's got jokes and Uggs, ya'll.
Alexa Chung on her new UGG boot role. I *think* she means perennial. Or does she really mean that delicate area? pic.twitter.com/6zKYRY51xw
