In addition to The Talk, Tyler is currently on CBS’s Criminal Minds, where she just became a series regular. She also hosts the CW’s Whose Line Is It Anyway? and voices a character on FX’s Archer. Add directing to that résumé and, well, something had to give.

“I just realized I had to let something go. And it’s been the hardest decision of my life because you guys are my family, you know that. And I love being with you every day and I love being out here with you guys every day,” Tyler said. “At the end of the season, I’m gonna be leaving the show.”

The other women comforted and praised Tyler, who promised to come back and guest-host at some point. In the end, there was nothing but love for the ladies of The Talk.
