‘AGT’ Comedian’s Political Humor Aimed at Donald and Melania Trump
The live shows got underway on America’s Got Talent, which meant 13-year-old comedian Lori Mae Hernandez could use some more current material. During the auditions, Lori was a big hit with her political humor, which was mostly directed toward Donald Trump. And now that she was performing on the live shows, Lori continued doing more of what got her to this point.
The teenager, or “tween,” as she refers to herself, started off by joking about Donald Trump’s appearance, saying he was a “little orange man with hair like a troll doll.” Now, people have been joking about Trump’s appearance for years, but Lori also commented on something that people have only been joking about for the last week: Melania Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention. The 13-year-old said of Trump, “He is rich enough to hire our first lady to write a speech for his third lady.”
America’s Got Talent airs Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
