After 11 Seasons ‘Duck Dynasty’ Series Ends on ZZ Top

Duck Dynasty lasted 11 seasons before Wednesday’s series finale brought an end to the once mighty A&E reality show.

The final episode centered on Si Robertson’s announcement that he would be retiring from Duck Commander — but not until he showed his co-workers where he kept his secret stash of toilet paper and his secret napping lair.

Since Si’s retirement was an obvious special occasion, the Robertsons pulled out all the stops and threw a giant party for him. There were T-shirts and a photobooth, and Duck Commander even resurrected Si’s favorite duck call, the Cutdown Magnum. But the best moment was probably when ZZ Top performed the song “Sharp Dressed Man” with Si.

While Duck Dynasty had its ups and downs, both on and off camera, it was one of the most successful nonscripted cable shows of all time. And considering how business savvy the Robertsons are, we doubt it will be long before they grace the TV screen once more.
