Adele Overcomes Challenges to Shine at Grammys

On Sunday at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, Adele reestablished herself as one of the greatest voices in music. The superstar singer took home the prize for the three most coveted categories: Best Song, Best Record, and Best Album.

While trophies are nice, it is Adele’s performances that have made her such a popular artist. She gave the audience exactly what they wanted when she opened the show with a stirring performance of her hit song “Hello.” Fortunately, it went much smoother than last year’s Grammy performance of “All I Ask,” which you may recall had some technical issues that she had to overcome.

Unfortunately, some technical difficulties followed Adele to the 2017 show, as she had to stop during her “Fastlove” tribute to the late George Michael. But once she reset, Adele put on a performance that earned her a standing ovation from the audience.
