Adam Levine Has Been Throwing Shade at Blake Shelton Everywhere on TV

The Voice star Adam Levine has been taking playful shots at his co-star Blake Shelton in his interviews recently. On The Tonight Show on Tuesday, Levine joked about Shelton’s southern accent. He said that he tries to get Shelton to say “Snow White” or “white bread” because he says it sounds more like whhhhiiiite.

Then Levine joined his friend Carson Daly on Wednesday’s Today to continue his Shelton-poking press tour. Levine joked that although they trade jabs at one another on The Voice, he writes all of Shelton’s lines. He went on to muse about how funny it would be for the country star to tour Europe like Levine does with his band, Maroon 5. He exclaimed, “Hi, Paris” and “Hey, Belgium” in Shelton’s easy-going southern accent.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
