A Bad Decision Sends 3 People to Hospital on ‘Naked and Afraid XL’
Last week’s episode of Naked and Afraid XL ended with Ryan throwing up by himself after leaving the group. This week picked up with Ryan calling for the medic to come in and help. Once the medic got there, he said Ryan had to be taken to the hospital because his pain was becoming too much for him to handle.
Later that day, as the rest of the group was catching up to where Ryan was camping, they found a tree with fruit on it and started eating a bunch of the fruit. As it turned out, Ryan had stopped at that same tree and that fruit was what made him so sick. One by one, the rest of the group started getting sick as they realized that the fruit was what caused Ryan to be taken to the hospital. Phaedra and Kim got so sick that they too had to be removed from the challenge and taken to the hospital. Jake got pretty sick as well, but he was able to fight through the pain, and when the episode ended, he was still at camp receiving medical attention.
