’80s-Themed Prom Leads to Marriage Proposal on ‘Little Women LA’
On Little Women: LA, Tonya and Terra were dress shopping for their ’80s-themed prom, trying to squeeze into thrift-store dresses, when Terra asked HER how things were going with Kerwin. Kerwin and Tonya had recently shopped together for an engagement ring, and although it wasn’t stated that he was planning on popping the question, that seemed to be on the horizon.
At the prom, it seemed like the right time for Tonya to tell her daughter Angelique about going ring shopping with Kerwin. Angelique was not too happy about it and said, “I don’t think you guys should get married.”
Even though her daughter did not approve, when Tonya and Kerwin were crowned prom king and queen, Erwin got down on one knee and Tonya decided to just go for it, saying yes.
When it was all over, Terra asked Tonya how she felt about it, and it seemed like this relationship was already headed for the rocks — Tonya said, “I am terrified [of] our track record, as far as commitment [goes]. We’re both strong-minded, and marriage don’t always make it better.”
Little Women: LA airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
