'The Walking Dead' Midseason Finale Recap: They've Got Guts
On the midseason finale of The Walking Dead, the walkers breached Alexandria. The herd of walkers poured into the the town forcing everyone to take shelter in their homes. Rick and one group hid in Jessie’s home while another group, which included Morgan and Carol, hid in the townhouses where the wolf was being held.
Despite all the chaos going on around them, Ron attempts to kill Carl but is unsuccessful. Another person who’s not focused on the threat at hand is Carol, as she is determined to kill the wolf that Morgan has been keeping in the basement. This results in a Carol and Morgan fight but unfortunately they both lose and the wolf escapes with Denise as a hostage.
For fans of Deanna there’s some bad news, she got bit and dies. And while this marks her final episode you can find solace in the fact that she took a lot of walkers with her to the other side.
The episode ends with Rick’s group covering themselves in walker guts and sneaking through a large herd of walkers.
The Walking Dead returns February 14th on AMC
