'Liv and Maddie' Sneak Peek: Hudson Yang Plays 38+ Questions
Looks like Liv has got some explaining to do! On the upcoming Liv and Maddie episode “Coach-A-Rooney,” Liv (Dove Cameron) is hosting a fan meet-and-greet for her superhero-themed TV show Voltage, but one superfan has a lot questions. Like at least 38 of them.
In this exclusive sneak peek at the episode, guest star Hudson Yang (Fresh Off the Boat) plays Frankie Chang, a diehard Sky Volt fan who’s comparing the Voltage comic books to the TV show — right down to the hem length on Liv’s superhero cape. In fact, this whiz kid might know more about Liv’s character than she does!

And with any luck, we haven’t seen the last of Frankie Chang — or Hudson Yang. Dove Cameron tells us she had a great time working with the Fresh Off the Boat star. “I loved having Hudson on set,” she says. “He was like an insta-baby brother! We were geeking out over the same stuff and hung out all day. Such a bright kid. And so sweet! Would love to have him back.”
The “Coach-A-Rooney” episode of Liv and Maddie airs Sunday, Jan. 24 at 8:30 p.m. on the Disney Channel.
