'Black-ish' Sneak Peek: Bow and Dre Have a Nanny War

Anyone know a nanny for hire? Because the Johnson family really needs one. In this sneak peek clip from the upcoming Black-ish episode “Black Nanny,” Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross) is making her case for why she wants to hire a nanny to help out with the kids, but Dre (Anthony Anderson) is not feelin’ it.

“That’s not how I was raised,” the Johnson patriarch says. “I’m not cool with strangers raising our kids.”

Come on, dad! It’s not like your busy wife is looking for a Mary Poppins or anything. Just something better than unreliable family members, random babysitters, and painful after-school programs. Oh, and maybe a driver for the kids who doesn’t work for Uber.

Regina Hall (Scary Movie, Law and Order: LA) guest stars in this episode, but you’ll have to watch to see if she’s nanny material.

Take a look at the clip to see Bow try to win this nanny war. And as a hint, she might just have a chance after you see what Dre forgot to do.

The Black-ish episode “Black Nanny” airs Wednesday, March 23 at 9:30 p.m. on ABC.
