Britney Spears Joins Ellen DeGeneres for a Day of Mischief at the Mall

Britney Spears joined Ellen DeGeneres on Ellen for a quick romp around a local mall. A crowd quickly gathered around them as they began their day of shenanigans, which centered on the fact that, according to DeGeneres, they’re celebrities so they can do what they want. They started by kicking and hitting a punching bag, which for some reason was in the clothing section of a department store, and then they went up the down escalator on their way to more mischief.

Then they hit the playpen, where they met a 14-year-old boy who wants to be a doctor. But DeGeneres had some advice for this young man, telling him that neither she nor Spears had gone to college — and look at them — telling him he should just be a celebrity. Spears, however, told the kid he could do both, which DeGeneres immediately disagreed with.

After stopping for some ice cream, the pair stopped in Pottery Barn to sit and eat, but the people stopping and staring outside the store were getting to be too much.

Looking at the gathering crowd, DeGeneres said, “Do you feel like we’re on display? I feel like people are looking at us. We’re like zoo animals in here.”

Right then, a woman stopped outside the window and took out her phone to take a picture, but DeGeneres jumped toward the window and roared, scaring the woman off. Then she roared at the window again just for good measure, but caused Spears to walk away at the same time.

And what would a day of shenanigans be without one last prank? As DeGeneres and Spears lay down for a fake nap, DeGeneres put a bejeweled fake spider on Spears’s chest, causing the pop singer to scream loudly.
