'Bachelorette' Rap Video: Awful? Hilarious? Or Both?

If you want to kill romance, start rapping!

On Monday's new "Bachelorette," Desiree and a group of her suitors bust a few rhymes with guest Soulja Boy. They make a video to the made-up song "Right Reasons," and it's embarrassing, awful, and hilarious all at once.

"I'm the Bachelorette, and I'm rapping to you poolside. Here to find true love, one man for my whole life," Desiree raps.

"Right reasons, right reasons, see a pretty girl for all the right reasons," the men chant in chorus.

As clunky and rhythmless as the guys are, the lyrics themselves are pretty amusing as they take on infamous "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" events of the past. One of the guys impersonates "Bachelorette 5" contestant Wes Hayden, the country singer who crooned for Jillian Harris. In the video, "Wes" raps:

"My manager sent me to promote my single, sing to you, girl, if it helps my jingle. You'll love me the most, some will be queasy — one thing's for sure, love don't come easy."

Another suitor takes on Justin "Rated R" Rego, the wrestler with a broken leg and a girlfriend back home, while another fakes an ugly cry just like "Bachelor" Jason Mesnick.

At least Des will have something to laugh about when the season is over!

"Bachelorette" airs Mondays at 8 PM on ABC.
