'CSI' Finale: A Behind-the-Scenes Look Through the Years

After 15 years, CSI airs its series finale Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. on CBS. William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger return for the two-hour movie, which jumps ahead about six months from February’s Season 15 finale that ended with Nick (George Eads) taking a job in San Diego and Julie (Elisabeth Shue) in a coma. “There’s a catastrophe that happens in Las Vegas, and it paralyzes the town, and evidence points to [Melinda Clarke’s] Lady Heather. That is what drives Grissom back into the case,” creator Anthony Zuiker tells Yahoo TV. “And then everybody else folds in, including Catherine Willows."

As we prepare to say goodbye, here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the last decade of the show.
