When we think about the French it’s easy to imagine a chic, baguette holding, cigarette smoking man or woman riding a bicycle through the streets of Paris — on their way to meet their lover for an amazing meal and a lot of red wine.

This alone is layered with misconceptions. So what else are Americans getting wrong about France? Well, to start with, they don’t follow fashion trends. They understand their physique and know what will flatter them. So you’re probably not going to see someone sporting Crocs or adult-sized pajama onesies.
