What old-movie buff wouldn’t jump at the chance to have a sleepover at Elizabeth Taylor’s house?

Now you can — for $695 a night. The actress’s former getaway in Palm Springs, dubbed Casa Elizabeth, is now available for rent on HomeAway.com. And while you won’t be able to try on all of her white diamonds or rifle through her couture, much of the decor remains as Taylor created it.

The actress bought the property in 2006 and regularly came out to the desert as an escape from Hollywood.

“It was a vacation getaway for her. She used it quite often and frequently spent time there over the holidays,” property manager Mike McLean says. “Some of the furniture and artwork is original.”

In typical Taylor style, the home is full of brightly hued rooms, over-the-top art (including Andy Warhol’s portrait of Taylor), and a landscape painting of two deer done by Taylor herself. The gated four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath house is nestled within the exclusive Las Palmas neighborhood.

If $695 seems steep, grab a few friends. Who could resist taking a dip in the over-the-top pool (complete with a waterfall) or a Jacuzzi in the bright pink master bath?

Or just settle in for four hours, drink some wine (a lot of wine), and watch Taylor and Richard Burton in the original Cleopatra.
