This week signals the end of a time when Saturn has been working with you in a more spiritual way, helping you to dig deep within yourself and to get stronger in your internal world. Honor Saturn and its work of the last few years as you journey to the island of Lombok, where retreat and tranquility are as key to this Indonesian paradise as are the expansive white beaches and the inviting turquoise water. The Moon in your sign this week will love the opportunities the island offers to snorkel beneath the waves, scuba dive, or even do a daring free dive. Take this week before the shift to savor the reflective time you’ve been given, and express gratitude for the wisdom you’ve received from it, Sagittarius. But above all, enjoy it.

Saturn’s upcoming shift and the New Moon in your sign this week are ushering in a time of change for you, Capricorn. Celebrate the big changes ahead as you gather with friends in the superhip West Australian port city of Fremantle, with its eclectic downtown center full of art galleries and boutiques, cafes and clubs, and of course beautiful white sand beaches nearby when you need a break from all the fun the town offers. While you’re there, grab a glass of wine from a local Swan Valley vineyard, and offer up a toast of thanks to Saturn for the support it’s been giving you for the last few years and to the friends you’ve made near and far.

You’ve been working hard and smart the last few years, Aquarius, streamlining your vision along the way. As Saturn gears up for its big shift next week, take time this week to reflect on the benefits and support it has been offering you. With this in mind, hop on an aquabus and head to Canada’s Granville Island, a former industrial and manufacturing district turned hipster hotspot. It had a vision years ago, stuck to it, and is now flourishing. From the famous waterside market to the artisan shops that dot the island to the local brewery, Granville is the place to be in Vancouver. Enjoy what focus and determination can bring. And have some yummy food while you’re at it.

As Saturn begins its monumental shift, take this week to tune into the support it has given you over the last few years, from the philosophical and spiritual beliefs it’s helped you to establish to the exciting opportunities for expansion it’s encouraged you to manifest. With these intentions, journey to Chennai (Madras) in eastern India, and spend meditative time at the stunning Kapaleeshwarar Temple, with its countless sculptures adorning the outside walls and the overwhelming energy exuding from within. This week, dig into your roots and into yourself, Pisces. Gain clarity, and emerge with a broader perspective as you prepare for the next phase of things.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

After some fun holiday shopping at the Union Square holiday market, hop in a yellow cab and go west to the High Line, a dilapidated train line turned urban walkway, with over 300 types of plants growing year-round. New York loves reinventing itself, something you are well acquainted with thanks to the connection Saturn has been making to you in recent years. As you walk downtown along this raised garden path, reflect upon the deeper purging you’ve managed to do over the last few years, and give a little gratitude for your ability to tackle and release from these old issues. You’ve done good work lately, Aries, and have now cleared the path for great opportunities to come your way. Grab a cup of hot cocoa, and enjoy an evening skate around the rink on West 13th Street just below the High Line, as you watch the sunset over the Hudson River.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

As Saturn prepares for its big shift into a new sign next week, take time to honor your relationships as Saturn has been asking of you for the past few years. Grab your love by the hand, and journey to charming Cinque Terre, a grouping of five ultra-colorful villages along the Ligurian Coast of Italy. Walk together along the via dell’Amore – the Way of Love – a cliff-side trail that links the towns together and offers stunning views of the picturesque villages perched above the Mediterranean. A good walk will surely work up your appetite, so now the only issue is to decide which of the quaint villages will be the most romantic spot for a glass of wine, an ultra-fresh seafood meal, and a flaky piece of farinata pastry. You’ve made it through a challenging Saturn time together, Taurus, and it’s worth toasting.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Take this week, Gemini, to enjoy the benefits Saturn has been bestowing upon you for the last few years before it makes its big shift into a new sign next week. It’s been boosting your discipline and your commitment to your body and mind, giving you internal and physical strength that will be lasting for years to come. Honor the hard work you’ve been doing on yourself with some time in Tignes, the most sports-centered ski area Europe has to offer. Nestled in the heart of the French Alps in Savoie along the French-Italian-Swiss border, Tignes has an exciting list of snowy activities to choose from: freeriding, heliskiing, snowshoeing, or good old-fashioned downhill skiing… the list goes on! And if you want to give your muscles a rest, you can easily country-hop the alpine way or simply enjoy some spa time with breathtaking views.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Ile Des Deux Cocos (Photo: Ile Des Deux Cocos)

Saturn has been making strong connections to you for the last few years, Cancer, strengthening your authority, giving you a strong platform from which to work, and every now and then letting you cut loose and have some fun, like the “grownup” you’ve become. As it begins its big shift next week into a new sign, take time this week to indulge in the gifts and lessons you’ve been embodying over the last few years. Find yourself in Île des Deux Cocos, a luxurious private island in Mauritius’ Blue Bay, where you can get a massage in a beachside canopy bed or spend your day floating in tranquil aquamarine water. Allow yourself the star treatment this week. Keep it simple yet sumptuous.

Saturn has been working with you the last few years, Leo, making you more established in your heart and home, perhaps even supporting a move so you can receive more of what you need on a daily basis. As Saturn begins to make its shift into a new sign next week, take this week to practice being centered as you lift your heart to the sky in a back-bending camel pose along the sands of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. From doing sunrise yoga on the beach (Take your pick of powdery white or black volcanic sand!) to snorkeling around ocean-side caves or simply wandering around the quaint towns, this island has all you need to tune into your heart’s desires.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

For the last few years, Saturn has been bringing you networking opportunities, helping you manifest your desires, all the while making your voice more solid and you more confident. This week, give thanks to the great support you’ve received while you get a jumpstart on the seasonal festivities. Pull on your favorite ugly holiday sweater, and grab a seat port-side in Newport Beach, R.I., to watch the annual boat parade sail by, where local yachts are lit up with colorful lights and themed animatronics from bow to stern. Why not “deck the hulls” this year, Virgo!

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

With Saturn gearing up for a big shift next week, this is a good time to connect with your past and get more grounded in yourself – things Saturn has been supporting over the last few years. But the Moon in your sign and Mars’s movement this week are giving you the go-ahead to get a little playful and to simply enjoy yourself. The holidays can be cold, and while it’s always fun to build snow forts and snowmen, the beach is where it’s at for you this week, Libra! Find yourself in Hanalei Bay in northern Kauai, known among other things for its epic sandcastle contests! Get in the holiday spirit, and build a sand(snow)man along Hanalei’s crescent-moon beach, hit the waves of this awesome surfer spot, or just kick back and get into the spirit of Hawaii for the holidays. Aloha!

Finding Tranquility at Cathedral Rock, Sedona, Arizona (Photo: Kelli Klymenko)

The Moon enters your sign this week just as Saturn is preparing to leave your sign, where it has been for the last few years. All of this, dear Scorpio, is big astrological news! Spend some time honoring the wisdom and experiences Saturn has brought you (albeit hard at times) in Sedona, Ariz., a magical place with lapis blue skies, iconic red rocks, and energy vortexes sprinkled about the landscape. Enjoy a hike to legendary Cathedral Rock for a sunrise salutation and a morning meditation, or take a break from a trail in Red Rock State Park to take in the exquisite scenery. A major shift is upon you, Scorpio, so make time this week to honor yourself, and find a quiet space for your personal practices.
