The Hangover: Africa - Elephants Gone Wild!

A group of elephants in the Singita Sabi Sand reserve in South Africa partied too hard the other day. Elephants are well known to have an affinity for the fruit of the Marula tree, which has intoxicating effects (in the elephants’ defense, humans like it too and it’s used to make the Amarula liqueur in South Africa). Like most teenagers, these hard partying pachyderms didn’t know when enough was enough and quickly got FUBAR. Thankfully, the kind folks at the Singita Sabi Sand lodges were on hand to document the festivities for us. Captions courtesy of Yahoo Travel.

Come on bro. You know you don’t want to wake up here in the morning.

But I guess it’s kinda cozy just for a little while.

Hey guys….I just want to tell you I love you.

We will never talk of this again.

I’m going home. You guys are lightweights.
