The Hangover: Africa - Elephants Gone Wild!
A group of elephants in the Singita Sabi Sand reserve in South Africa partied too hard the other day. Elephants are well known to have an affinity for the fruit of the Marula tree, which has intoxicating effects (in the elephants’ defense, humans like it too and it’s used to make the Amarula liqueur in South Africa). Like most teenagers, these hard partying pachyderms didn’t know when enough was enough and quickly got FUBAR. Thankfully, the kind folks at the Singita Sabi Sand lodges were on hand to document the festivities for us. Captions courtesy of Yahoo Travel.
