Our Favorite End of Summer Snapshots

This is a public service announcement: Starbucks will begin serving its infamous pumpkin spice lattes in seven days. Isn’t that the true hallmark of summer coming to a close for those of us in the northern hemisphere?

But before we dive headfirst into the autumnal equinox, take our sweaters out of storage, and go apple picking, let’s take a moment to reflect on that magical period at the very end of summer when new beginnings are approaching (School has arrived, and September boasts one of the highest rates of births and weddings!), long sleeves are worn over bikinis, and there’s a melancholic taste to that drippy ice cream cone.
