Madame Tussauds London has created a new job at its Brit wax museum in the wake of boy band One Direction’s announcement that Zayn Malik quit the group: tissue attendant.

Yes, there are literally so many tweeny boppers crying their eyes out over the news, that Madame Tussauds needed a staff member on standby to hand out tissues and console visitors.

According to Yahoo Celebrity UK, there has been a dramatic increase in visitors to the young lads’ wax figure doppelgangers in the weeks since the news of Zayn’s split. Since Madame Tussauds says it has no plans to remove the wax Zayn from the display, it is now the only place devastated fans can see the guys together forever, smiling.

"Directioners that have visited since the news broke have enjoyed seeing all of the boys together and singing along with their songs,” Grace Cadden, a tissue attendant, told Yahoo Celebrity UK. “Many have also been teary eyed, but we’ve had a delivery of 150 boxes of tissues over the weekend so we’re prepared."

It’s not the first time the waxy One Direction attraction has needed a tissue attendant — the first time the museum hired for the position was when the figures were unveiled two years ago. Of course, back then, the fans were crying tears of joy.
