Sisters Chloe and Parris Gordon were born and raised in Toronto, where they also launched their super-hip fashion and accessories label Beaufille. While their Spring 2014 collection includes references to Assyrian jewelry and 1970s California skate culture, they continue to get their biggest inspiration from their hometown. They told us where we need to shop and eat in their home city:

Rac Boutique
“A hidden gem in the heart of Yorkville. This small boutique carries a range of high end designers alongside up and coming designers. They carry clothing, accessories and jewelry collections, and its great for finding unique items that not everyone else might have.”

L’Ouvrier
“Great fine dining fare at affordable prices. The chefs are very creative; they make perfect food. It’s a beautifully designed space with a very comfortable atmosphere. A must for any visit, or monthly staple for locals of Toronto’s West End.”

Bar Isabel
“Unbeatable Spanish tapas. Everything is perfect. Book far in advance, like six-eight weeks. Their half or whole octopus to share is a must—no one in Toronto does it better. I love the busy and effortlessly romantic atmosphere.”

Emporium by I Miss You
“I probably walk into this store the most out of any in the West End. It’s a great, feel-good, relaxed store. The best South Western and Navajo accessories offering I’ve ever seen in one place. I love boutiques that stick to one theme and do it well. And they have great prices.”

ODDSEOUL
“A Korean snack bar located on the Ossington strip, perfect for groups and sharing. It’s always packed and they don’t accept reservations so get there early. Every item on the menu is amazing but my favorite is the Loosey, which can be described as a Korean ‘Big Mac.’”
